That is one fat birdie. We have a mob of wood pigeons out the back here like you woudn't believe, they're massive and quite lumbering. I''m surprised the bigger of the cats hasn't caught one yet.
There was a gang of them, and even thought I was using a telephoto lens I could get up close and the were not the least bit phased. A quick meal for a cat methhinks.
That's not a cute little birdie, it's mean-looking. It looks like a bouncer down at the birdie bar on the wrong side of town.

Has the weather been as nice in So. Cal as it has been here, ooop north ?
It's been misty in the mornings and in the 80s by noon. Still no rain though. We're going to be a tinderbox this summer.
